Julie Landers therapist portrait – Master’s level counselor specializing in anxiety, grief, women’s mental health, and life transitions

Hi! I’m Ashley MS, MSEd

I am a therapist dedicated to helping teens (12+), adult individuals and couples navigate some of life’s most emotionally challenging experiences. I work with individuals and couples struggling with infertility, maternal mental health, and the family planning journey

Before becoming a counselor, I spent 14 years as a special education teacher and educational leader. That experience reinforced my belief that every person has inherent strengths and deserves individualized care, compassion, and hope.

My passion for this work is deeply personal with my own nine-year experience of navigating infertility, IVF, and the emotional roller coaster that so often accompanies this journey. While every person’s story is unique, my own journey allows me to sit with clients in a way that combines both professional training and lived understanding.

Those who find me to be a good fit may be experiencing concerns such as:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Emotional Regulation
  • Grief
  • Infertility
  • Life Transitions
  • Maternal Mental Health
  • Perinatal and Postpartum Mood and Anxiety Disorders
  • Trauma
  • Social Skills
  • Women’s Mental Health

Who am I as a Counselor?

My counseling style is warm, casual, and collaborative. I show up in sessions authentic to who I am and value connection with others. I use a combination of interventions based on the client’s needs including:

  • Person-Centered Therapy
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Mindfulness

I am spiritually open-minded and LGBTQIA+ affirming. Together, we’ll process the difficult emotions, develop practical coping strategies, strengthen your resilience, and help you reconnect with yourself and the life you envision.
