Hi! I’m Savannah, OTR/L, IBCLC
I believe becoming a mother is one of the biggest transitions a person can experience, yet it is often one of the least supported. Motherhood can bring incredible joy alongside identity shifts, overwhelm, relationship changes, sensory overload, and the pressure to hold everything together. My passion is creating a space where mothers feel seen, understood, and supported as they navigate this season in ways that feel authentic to them.
I believe caring for mothers is one of the best ways we can care for babies, families, and communities. Mothers deserve support, not just when things feel overwhelming, but as they navigate the everyday realities of becoming and being a mother.
As an occupational therapist, IBCLC, postpartum doula, and Motherhood Studies Practitioner, I support women through pregnancy, postpartum, and early motherhood with a whole-person approach. Together, we’ll explore what feels hardest right now, which may include the practical and emotional realities of motherhood, identity shifts, caregiver overwhelm, sensory overload, infant feeding, routines, relationships, and nervous system regulation.
Those who find me to be a good fit may be experiencing concerns such as:
- Pregnancy & Postpartum Support
- Matrescence & Identity Shifts
- Maternal Mental Health Support
- Infant Feeding & Lactation
- Nervous System Regulation
- Sensory Overwhelm & Burnout
- Fourth Trimester Planning
- Routines, Roles & Everyday Functioning
- Returning to Work After Baby
Who am I as a Clinician?
As both a clinician and a mother, I know that motherhood rarely unfolds exactly the way we imagined it would. I have navigated my own perfectionism and the pressure of the “perfect mother” myth while also learning what it means to support a highly sensitive child as a highly sensitive person myself. I understand how easily the cycle of overwhelm, guilt, and self-criticism can build.
I also know how vulnerable it can feel to ask for support when it seems like everyone else has it figured out.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence while honoring that there is no single “right” way to mother.

Whether you’re preparing for the fourth trimester, adjusting to life with a new baby, navigating feeding challenges, feeling touched out or overwhelmed, struggling to recognize yourself, or simply wondering if what you’re experiencing is “normal,” you do not have to figure it out alone.
I have a special interest in matrescence, the developmental transition of becoming a mother, and the ways this experience impacts how we see ourselves, our relationships, and our everyday lives. Rather than focusing on what mothers should be doing, I strive to create space for curiosity, self-compassion, and the freedom to discover what motherhood and womanhood look like in ways that feel authentic to them.
My hope is that when you work with me, you feel like you can take a breath. You do not have to have the perfect words, have everything figured out, or wait until you are completely overwhelmed before reaching out.
We will start wherever you are and work together to understand what you need, not to become a different kind of mother, but to feel more supported as the mother you already are.
